We ordered the abalone innards porridge and the grilled abalone with butter. The porridge consistency was thick and very flavourful from the perilla oil seaweed that was added in. Banchan was very tasty. Grilled abalones were well cooked, fresh, soft and chewy at the same time.

Authentic jeju porridge especially the abalone innards porridge. Also tried their 돼지국밥 pork soup and that was clean-tasting and well seasoned. Jeons (pancakes) are a good side and if you want to try something different, try their misu jeon - a pork egg pancake! Friendly attentive service by the staff too.

Newly opened Korean place specialising in Jeju style dishes. We ordered the truffle abalone porridge and pork soup as our mains, which was really comforting and not overly salty. I would have preferred the porridge to be served a little warmer, but that’s just a personal preference. Would revisit!

We were unorthodox. We tried their Jeju Style Pork Soup and Pork Bibimbap as a first time customer. The pork soup is rich and the bibimbap is well-mixed.

Personally I'm not a big fan of porridge. But the Avalon porridge is pretty decent even though not strong flavour. I ordered bibimbap as well, it is considered expensive but the portion and the taste is not worth the price.
